History

Andrew qualified in 1984 from UHW, Cardiff  with a Diploma in Physiotherapy, before venturing to Merthyr, UHW, Talygarn Rehab Centre, East Glamorgan/Royal Glamorgan and finally full time at the clinic in Whitchurch, Cardiff in 2000.

Starting  private work from his flat in Fairwater before moving to Whitchurch and continued in the converted garage before progressing to the clinic in Old Church Road. A long journey to an ever expanding clinic now with 12 staff at last count.

Private work was developed on the back of a dislocated Shoulder whilst playing rugby for Cardiff HSOB, so being unable to play , started treating the players (30 years later he is still there ).

This initial bad bit of luck soon turned to good fortune as Malcolm Lewis (WRU) invited me to apply for a trip to New Zealand with the -19s in 1987, this was the start of a 17 year journey with the WRU, treating players such as Jonathon Davies, Scott Quinell, Ieuan Evans, Neil Jenkins, Gwyn Jones etc. That took in New Zealand (x2), Hong Kong as well as all the 6 Nation venues. Andrew was instrumental in helping create the Professionalism of Physiotherapy in the WRU today.

Other highlights being  include being asked to be Madonna's Tour Physio in Cardiff on a recent tour, American Football, Glamorgan Cricket Academy, Television and Radio appearances, lecturing on variety subjects, contract with Parc Prison etc.

The clinic continues to grow , attracting quality staff from the Physiotherapy and Massage fraternity.
